Department of ECE conducted a webinar on the ‘Higher Degree Education’ for the final and third year students in association with ISTE & IETE Students Forum on 15.06.2020. The speaker Dr. Siva Ganapathy Subramanian M, Senior Director, Global Head Data- Google Business Unit, HCL Technologies UK Limited gave a wonderful illustrated lecture on the importance of higher degree education like master and doctorate degree and its values in the core industries as well as public sector jobs, also he pointed out the significant role of research work and its implementation on the new product. The topics has covered such as why higher education needed, how to select the course, trending courses in the current scenario and its benefits that have been discussed during the session and students doubts were clarified by him about the higher education.
This webinar was coordinated and completed successfully by Dr. C.Amali, AP ECE and Dr. N. Subhashini, AP/ECE under the guidance of Dr. Komala James, Prof & Head of the ECE Department.
